The Warrior’s Perspective

The Warriors Perspective

Christianity is likened to warfare. Indeed, it is the very notion
and the norm of the way that those who follow Christ must live. Thus, those who desire to follow this path will face many
battles—battles that must be won if we are to make it into the
kingdom of God. The deliberate and purposeful effort is involved—
consequently, energy must be expended in day-to-day life
of a true Christian.
I see a true warrior as someone who strives to be the best they
can be at all things (living life to its fullest) and not necessarily as
someone who has prowess in the physical/martial arts of battle
only, but also in the arts of the psychological, mental and
spiritual so that one may have the discipline to win on all sides
and realms.
No wonder Paul further instructed Timothy to “endure
hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ,” knowing that “no
man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that
he may please Him who has chosen him to be a soldier” II Tim.
