As we bring the year 2025 to a close, DICCI-CORPS celebrates the faith, professionalism, and partnerships that made our work possible. This report highlights our key activities, measurable impact, lessons learned, and priorities for the coming year. We also express our heartfelt appreciation to every chaplain, volunteer, and partner who served alongside us throughout the year.

  • Care encounters (chaplaincy visits, counselling, crisis support): 50 globally

Programme Highlights

1. Chaplaincy Training & Professional Development

  • Delivered comprehensive training modules in pastoral care, trauma-informed ministry, ethical practice, and professional chaplaincy skills.
  • Launched peer supervision groups and ongoing mentorship for early-career chaplains.

2. Chaplaincy Care & Deployment

  • Maintained a consistent chaplaincy presence in hospitals, correctional facilities, schools, and first-responder agencies.
  • Responded to acute needs during local and global emergencies, providing on-site support and follow-up care.

3. Community Outreach & Spiritual Support

  • Hosted community prayer gatherings, grief support groups, and family resilience workshops.
  • Implemented culturally sensitive ministry initiatives tailored to the diverse communities served globally.

4. Partnerships & Collaboration

  • Strengthened partnerships with faith communities, healthcare institutions, government agencies, and NGOs.
  • Co-sponsored outreach events and joint training programmes with chaplaincy corps around the world.

Major Events & Milestones

  • Successfully hosted a Camp Meeting in Abuja, Nigeria.
  • DICCI-CORPS @ 20 White-Worship Thanksgiving Celebration — thank you for your generous support, which made this event a success.
  • Unveiled a major book project titled The School of Chaplaincy, now available on Amazon for wider global impact.

Reflection & Appreciation

The year 2025 presented its challenges; however, many important milestones were achieved. We sincerely appreciate your unwavering support, commitment, and belief in the vision of DICCI-CORPS. You have helped turn this dream into reality.

‎To reach our set goals and achieve our dreams as committed in the CFM End of the Year and New Year Messages, there is need for a roadmap/strategic plan and also coordinated actions to realise the set goals; we need to strive hard while making each day count as we seek ‎to realise the set goals‎.

In pursuant of this objective, the CFM
,? has approved the 2025 Annual Programs Calendar as proposed by the Events/Planning Committee, following their Strategic Programs Planning Meeting with the BOT held on Monday 9th December, 2024

This announcement therefore is to communicate this strategic timelines and calendar for the information of the Chaplaincy rank and file and to enable all Units/Areas/State formations of the Chaplaincy to proactively gear up and to also integrate the important dates in their respective local Chaplaincy plans for 2025
